Jo Goodman offers up another enjoyable historical western romance in A Touch of Forever, the third book in her Colorado Cowboy series. Now, this is less "cowboy" than some of her other western romance books, and set at the turn of the century, but it still has all the fun small-town adventures one comes to expect from these types of books. Like in all of her books, there's lots of great wit and banter between the characters. Goodman also has a knack for handling difficult subjects with respect and a delicate touch. For fans of Goodman's and western romances, you won't be disappointed.
A marriage of convenience turns into a sweetly seductive love-off-the-rails romance in the latest Cowboys of Colorado novel from USA Today bestselling author Jo Goodman.
Lily Salt has sworn off men. After finally gaining her independence, the last thing she needs is another man telling her what to do. When a complication from his past follows him to Frost Falls, Roen proposes a mad scheme to protect the new life he's built and keep close the stubborn woman he's accidentally fallen for—a marriage of convenience. But Lily has secrets of her own, and the closer he gets to uncovering them, the more he comes to realize that the only truth that matters is the secret to unlocking her heart.
The Reading Room is where I share books, because authors are readers, too! I don't review and rate books on my blog—not precisely—but I do like to share books I've read and enjoyed. My tastes are eclectic, so expect to see everything from sweet, wholesome romance to edge-of-your-seat, sexy thrillers, and more in between.
