It's easy to let the darkness be the first thing our eyes take in, but beyond all that darkness is light, beauty, and millions of stars. I like to think of each one of those stars as a possibility. Think of how long it takes for a star to form. I'm not an astronomer and did not look it up, but I know it's a really long time, and it is worth every millisecond of that really long time to produce something so glorious.

The ability to appreciate both light and darkness for what each can offer is akin to appreciating both success and struggles. Light may guide and success may give us that warm, fuzzy feeling inside that we've accomplished something great. However, let us know forget that darkness also guides, and struggles do not lack success, we simply need to adjust our vision for one and look harder for the other.
