Dreaming of Winter

Perhaps it's because we didn't have much of a winter this year, or even because temps are rising to late July/early August levels already, but I'm dreaming of winter. Autumn is my favorite time of year, but winter brings with it the cold I love. At this moment we're enjoying a nice steady rain, but I don't expect it to last long. I enjoy listening to the fall of rain on leaves blend with the wind as I sit and write.

Speaking of writing, the next Crooked Creek short story is with the editor and is slated for release the end of June. I'm hard at work on the next Gallagher book, and loving every minute. I'd get a little more done if I hadn't recently discovered the awesomeness of BBC's The Musketeers, but I consider it time well wasted.

The new Gallagher book is a Christmas story wrapped up in the the wonderful adventure and family bonds readers have come to expect from the Gallagher clan. You'll get two meet two new special people, both of whom have already touched my heart, brought a smile to my lips, and tears to my eyes. I can't wait for you to meet. Now, it's time for me to get back to work!
