A Bounty of Blessings and Gratitude

Dearest Readers,

Like many others, I have friends and family in places that have been hit by sadness and destruction. We may each know a person who has been touched by loss and hopelessness. Even now someone reading this may have suffered from nature's or mankind's wrath. Every day we can find something wrong with the world, something to worry over, something to fear, but every day we also choose how we will feel, who we will help, and what we can do to make this day, in this world, better for someone else. I don't know believe it is just a matter of thinking good thoughts, but more so of doing good works.

This season, when it seems as though far too many have suffered, I hope we remember that we are each of us capable of giving to others and showing gratitude when we are the ones receiving.

Be well and safe, and may you find joyful moments in this day and beyond. To all those celebrating Thanksgiving this week, I wish you a very happy one.
