and moments captured
From mountain peaks to open prairies to coastal villages, I love to explore the world through a lens and share untouched beauty with the world. An image is a single moment in time. When I return to the same spot, the movement of water may change or autumn colors may shift after a cooler evening. I believe nature's beauty is best spent in quiet reflection and being in the moment: smell the air, feel the earth, and look at the world through your natural eyes. But the world is in a constant state of change, and capturing moments keeps them alive forever.

Majestic Montana
“I’m in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana it is love. And it’s difficult to analyze love when you’re in it.”
― John Steinbeck, Travels with Charley: In Search of America
Glorious Scottish Highlands
These images are from my 2005 week-long holiday in Scotland. I flew into Edinburgh, but after securing my rental car, I drove north and spent seven magnificent days in the Highlands. Returning to Scotland is at the top of my must-do list. I think of her often and remember her fondly. If there was ever only one place I could visit again, it would be Scotland.
