A Note from MK

Dearest Reader,

Little did I know that my first published book, Gallagher's Pride, would lead to a fifth Montana Gallagher book and yet here we are. Amanda Warren entered the Gallaghers' lives in book three, and I immediately knew she would need a story of her own. Her past held many unanswered questions, and I wanted to learn more about her and how she came to be in Briarwood. Ben Stuart, the ranch foreman at Hawk's Peak, has a bit of his own mysterious past, and the more time I spent with him and Amanda, the clearer their stories became. I hope you enjoy their tender, romantic adventure.

Happy Reading,

~ Mk

"Journey to Hawk's Peak by MK McClintock is one of the most gripping and thrilling western novels that anyone will ever read. This is probably the best novel that I have yet read as a reviewer. It clicks on all cylinders—grammar, punctuation, plot, characterization, everything. This novel is a serious page-turner, and for fans of western fiction, it is a must-read."

On Gallagher's Pride

M.L. Sullivan

"I have loved all of the books by MK McClintock through the years, but although we waited patiently for this book, it was so worth it. I have fallen in love with all of the Gallagher family, their experiences, hardships and enjoyed the love they share with each other. Her readers had hoped she would find love and a lifelong companion for Colton, and in Ainslee ... we did. If you love adventure, romance, thrillers, mysteries, you will find all of these in a MK McClintock book."

"MK McClintock is a master wordsmith and proves it once again with Journey to Hawk’s Peak. This magnificent novel has EVERYTHING anyone could ask for in an entertaining novel. There’s action, adventure, a love story, the Old West at it’s best and rivals the best production from Louis L’Amour. Pick this one up and enjoy then pass it on to anyone who loves westerns!"

Readers' Favorite

"Any reader who loves Westerns, romances, historical fiction or just a great read would love this book, and I am pleased to be able to very highly recommend it. This is the first book I've read by this author, but it certainly won't be the last. Do yourself a favor and give it a chance!"

On Gallagher's Pride

Rose Harness

"I couldn't have asked for a better ending to the Gallagher's story. The Gallagher family has warmed my heart, and they have become like a second family. Ms. McClintock kept the action stampeding at an all time high in the conclusion of the Gallagher's story."

"MK McClintock has woven every emotion possible into a series of books called the Montana Gallaghers. I read many books and this is honestly the best series I have ever read. Yes, each book is based on it's own character but all the others are as much a part of the story as well. Each character brings their own flavors to every story as much as the "star" of that book. I have never read a series that does this. "

A Book Lover's Library

"A good story can have a little bit of romance, a little bit of adventure, and a little bit of mystery all rolled up into one. Ms. McClintock’s Gallagher’s Hope delivers all that and more."

Amazon Reviewer

"MK McClintock is a gem among historical writers. She has another perfect novel in Wild Montana Winds! She has put the words on a page to describe the heart and soul of Montana and it’s magnificent heritage. She has replaced Louis L’Amour in my heart, and that is no easy feat. Please, please, please pick up this, or any of the Gallagher book, and simply enjoy!"

Jacqueline Clark

"This series is spell-binding. Once you start it you cannot put it down."

On the Montana Gallaghers

Jan Karol

"Ms. McClintock's newest novel in the Gallagher series is pitch perfect for the genre. The attraction between Ainslee and Colton is immediate and Ms McClintock manages to take them through the romance in a natural progression of heated encounters. Wild Montana Winds is a thoroughly satisfying read and recommended."

Amazon Reviewer

"I rarely read late into the night, but I did with this one. I started it in the doctors waiting room. I later read well past my bedroom. I loved the author's descriptions of the Montana landscape. Colton fit my image of the mountain man. He asked no quarter and gave none. Ainslee was a well developed character who was a match for him. It was a great read and now I have to go read the others in the series."
