The newest Montana Gallagher/Tales from Briarwood installment has arrived!

CHRISTMAS IN BRIARWOOD by MK McClintock - a Montana Gallagher Christmas Novella

CHRISTMAS IN BRIARWOOD is in Kindle Unlimited, plus print for those who like to hold paper. Don't waste another minute! Join me and my friends for a snowy Christmas in Montana!

During a season of hope and healing, two souls find an unexpected gift in love.

These are not a low-fat, low-calorie, low-sugar, low-carb dessert. If any of those things frighten you, please turn away now. For everyone else, these are the most delicious cinnamon roll variation I have ever tasted.

Sweet rolls have been around for centuries, but it is thought that the cinnamon version we have today most likely originated in Sweden, and brought to America by German and Swedish immigrants, so be sure to thank them for that.

Gooey, delicious, and chock full of chocolaty-nutty goodness, these cinnamon rolls are best left for a special holiday because those are the only times, I have heard, when calories don't count. Cinnamon rolls have always been a Christmas morning treat in my family, but this year they came a little early.

The original recipe is an adaptation from two other recipes, the sources of which I do not recall, with the addition of my nutty chocolate variation. These are 100% from scratch, but if you want to bypass the extra work, you can use a high-quality pre-made dough and just use the filling and frosting.

For your convenience, you can download a printable PDF here.

If you try this recipe, I hope you'll let me know how it worked out!

Enjoy!

A collection of letters has been unearthed from the historic Hawk's Peak ranch by the descendants of Ethan and Brenna Gallagher, though it is uncertain when the letters sent to Scotland were returned to Montana. These letters give us greater insight into the lives of all the Gallaghers during the 1880s. For preservation purposes, the letters have been transcribed from their original form.

If you have not yet been acquainted with the Gallagher family and Briarwood, some letters may contain what modern folk refer to as "spoilers."
